What Does a Grading Mean?
The colored belt grades serve as stepping stones on a student’s journey toward achieving a Black belt. Each grading signifies that a student has reached a competent level in their current techniques and is ready to progress and learn more advanced skills and techniques.

* 9th Kyu White 1 Yellow Stripe
* 8th Kyu White 2 Yellow Stripe
* 7th Kyu Yellow
* 6th Kyu Green
* 5th Kyu Purple
* 4th Kyu Purple with white stripe
* 3rd Kyu Brown
* 2nd Kyu Brown with one white stripe
* 1st Kyu Brown with two white stripes
* Sho Dan Black belt
* NI Dan 2nd Dan Black belt
